According to Page Six, George and Amal Clooney intend to sell their Lake Como villa for the surprising sum of $107 million. While this isn't the first time rumors have been heard that they want to get rid of the property, this time they seem serious. Instead, they favor their new residence in France, purchased in 2021. The Domaine du Canadel villa in the Provence region has become their new destination. The villa on Lake Como is currently a "quiet proposition" with no publicity or press.

According to a media source, Clooney is looking for buyers with high financial means who are serious about buying the residence. If George gets his price, he will earn a huge profit as he bought this villa in 2002 for $10 million.

The villa has 25 rooms with luxurious amenities including an outdoor pool, gym, movie room, lush garden and tennis court. In addition, one cannot forget the magnificent view of Lake Como, which is just a few steps away from the property. Celebrities such as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Matt Damon, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have stayed at the villa.

George and Amal are now creating new memories on their 425-acre French wine estate, which they purchased for $8.3 million. Their six-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, will be able to swim in the pool, run through the olive grove, visit their own lake or even learn the art of winemaking in the 25-acre vineyard. It's a big step for the Clooney family, but seems like the perfect retreat from the paparazzi.
