George Clooney is selling his Lake Como estate for $107 million.

Georg and Amal Clooney are saying goodbye to their famous Lake Como villa in northern Italy. A source close to the "Batman & Robin" star told Page Six that he has put it up for sale for a whopping 100 million euros ($107 million).

Rumors about the sale of Clooney's Lake Como property have been circulating for a long time. Rumors of a sale even surfaced in 2010, when it was said that he was thinking of selling because of the paparazzi attention he was attracting in the area. Then the same rumors surfaced again in 2015, less than a year after he married lawyer Amal.

"George loves the area and the people who live here, but he is aware of the attention he gets when he is in the city. He has been made a huge offer on a villa, which''he is considering, and he will buy another, less affordable property in another area of Italy,' a source told us at the time.

Clooney is selling the villa for 100 million euros. But we're told Clooney, who sources describe as "the mayor of the lake," pulled the trigger this time. Our source told us it's a "very quiet offer," which probably means you won't find it on Streeteasy!

The couple spent the entire summer season in Italy, where they were spotted out on dates and attending events. "It's very quiet. There's no advertising. No press, just rich potential buyers," they said.

The Clooney's reportedly bought the villa from the Heinz family in 2002 for $10 million - meaning he would make a hefty profit if he sold for close to''s asking price. (Although he doesn't need to - in addition to being a top movie actor, he also made a ton of money when his Casamigos tequila brand was sold for a billion dollars.) Meanwhile, Georg and Amal still seem to be enjoying their property while they still have the keys. They were spotted on dates at several restaurants in the area over the summer. A rep for the star did not respond to us.
