D Georgia Toffolo depressed about ex-boyfriend's dating after winning I'm a celebrity
The winner of I'm A Celebrity show Georgia Toffolo is "heartbroken" after her ever-returning boyfriend started an affair with the current Miss Montenegro. Convicted criminal George Cottrell, former senior counselor to Nigel Farage, meets model Angela Vukadinovic after moving to the Balkans. Ms. Toffolo's friends say she is "heartbroken" that her four-year relationship with the financier may finally be over. It is understood Cottrell and the beauty queen, who won a competition in Montenegro in March, have been vacationing together in the south of France this summer.
One friend told the Mail on Sunday newspaper:
"Georgia is very upset about the whole thing - it's really hit her. Their relationship had its ups and downs, but seeing George leave with Angela was very sad for her. She always hoped it would work out. But George is spending more and more time in Montenegro because of work and met Angela. "
On Ms. Vukadinovic's Instagram page, you can see photos of her and her friend posing with Mr.
Miss Toffolo, known for her appearance in the E4 series Made in Chelsea, met Mr Cottrell at a social event, then spent time with him at his £2.5 million West London apartment and enjoyed weekends at the family's Worcestershire estate.
It is understood Mr Cottrell, 29, played a prominent role during the campaign for Britain to leave the European Union and also worked for the UKIP party. He was arrested in Chicago in 2016 and was later jailed after admitting he posed as a money launderer in an attempt to defraud drug couriers. He spent eight months in a US prison before being released.
Although Ms. Toffolo, who won the show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!" in 2017, was not embarrassed by his criminal past, their relationship was far from perfect. During one of the breaks in their affair, she registered on the famous dating app Raya in an attempt to move on before becoming attached again to Mr. Cottrell, who is expected to have a fortune of 300 million pounds.
A spokesman for Ms Toffolo declined to comment, as did Ms Vukadinovic.
