According to Enterprise Greece and based on data from the Bank of Greece, direct''Foreign investment in 2022 reached €7.22 billion, up from €5.3 billion in 2021.

"These are record levels - the largest net inflows since 2002 - which confirm the positive dynamics of the Greek economy and the efforts made in recent years to attract foreign investment to Greece," it is noted in this regard.

"Our country has shown considerable resilience in the face of successive crises in recent years, with ever-increasing foreign capital inflows, and this is due to the fact that the business environment has improved, public sector reforms have been implemented, incentives have been created to attract investment, and the country's creditworthiness has improved, which encourages a further increase in''investments in various sectors,' said Vasilios Kafatos, partner, head of Clients & Industries at Deloitte Hellas.
