'Emliy Berova: Legislative shortcomings and real estate.'

Minister of Finance Dr. Ozdemir Berova received the president of the Brick-Turkey Real Estate Association Hasan Sungur. The guest included the chairman of Mersin Realtors Room, Mehmet Sinan Cianpolat, deputy chairman of the Federation of Realtors of Turkey, and a large delegation.

In his address, Berova noted the strong ties between the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, stressing the importance of cooperation between public organizations to develop this connection. He also noted that real estate in Northern Cyprus is developing very fast and is one of the most important sectors. However, due to some problems in the legislation there are difficulties, so the government is working on''regulation.

The president of the Brick-Turkish Real Estate Association, Hasan Sungur, said that they are working to revitalize the market and increase the state's revenue through paying taxes. Mehmet Sinan Cianpolat, Chairman of Mersin Room of Realtors and Vice Chairman of Turkish Federation of Realtors, expressed his gratitude to Finance Minister Dr. Ozdemir Berova for hosting them during such an intensive schedule. He also reported on his work and emphasized the importance of legislative guarantee for the real estate sector.
