This weekend, the Ocean's Eleven actor and his sweetheart, a civil rights attorney, were spotted on the streets of the small village of Contignac, just 20 miles from Brignoles, on the Côte d'Azur, where they recently purchased a stunning chateau. The couple, strolling with their new St. Bernard Nelson puppy, seemed at home in the charming French countryside.
They visited a local art exhibit and had dinner at Picotee Restaurant, which offers local cuisine with fresh local produce.

Their 18th century country estate is on a wine estate and features huge lawns, a swimming pool, tennis court, a 25-acre vineyard and a lake.Houseis spacious and provides plenty of room to raise their six-year-old twins, who already speak three languages.
Clooney's secluded French estate is just a 25-minute drive from Chateau Miraval, previously co-owned by George's close friend actor Brad Pitt and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie. Clooney's love of Europe has long been a shared interest in their marriage. The actor from the film “Up in the Air” denied rumors about the sale of his famous villa on Como, which, according to him, “changed his life in a very pleasant and unexpected way.” Clooney's family home dates back to the 18th century and is located in Laglio.
