Esenyurt: a racist scandal! Refusal to rent apartments to black people.

In Esenyurt, Nagehan Essembion, came with her Cameroonian husband to a real estate office where she encountered a shock in her life.

Nagehan Essembion (26), who works as a flight attendant for Airlines, met Cameroonian national Calvin Essembion (30) 6 years ago when she left to study in Cyprus.

After a short relationship, they got married and moved to Istanbul. The family has two girls, so they decided to find a large apartment. They contacted a real estateagency located under the site in Crystal City in Esenyurt.

When Nagehan arrived at the office, she learned that the site's administration had banned renting apartments to black people. She wrote a complaint to CIMER and wrote the following: " We are being humiliated because my''the husband is black. There are quite a few women living in the whole of Istanbul whose wives are also black. They're all not happy.

The real estateagency denied responsibility, saying the site administration makes the decision, and the site management claims they have no such decision.

Calvin Essembion, Nagehan Essembion's husband, said he works at a courier service in Aksaray and gets into situations with racism. "The situations I encounter during my work have made me very sad.

Nagehan and I are going to proceed to take this case to court. "
