Where was the movie Remains Tomorrow with Paola Cortellesi filmed?

Italian cinema has a new star. Paola Cortellesi's debut as a director is drawing Italians into movie theaters in a way that hasn't happened in a long time.
A few hours ago, the comedic actress and screenwriter fromRome turned down the recognition given to her by ANEC because her film "There's Still Tomorrow" is the most watched film of the year and it's the 2023 Golden Ticket.
From the first day of the Rome 2023 Film Festival to November 8, box office receipts have exceeded 8 million euros, and has already become the most viewed film since Pandemic. Among the many secrets to the success of this movie, which revives the desire for cinema, one cannot fail to mention the work on costumes and the choice of locations and scenes.
Historical patina,''Black and white footage, the Rome of neorealist cinema before "The Sweet Life". All these sensations and more are attracting Paola Cortellesi's movie "There's Still Tomorrow" to the hearts of Italians.
The places where the movie was filmed stirred up memories and a desire to be in those places. The film, starring Delia, has brought the Roman neighborhoods back to the center of cinema. It was in these corners of art and popularity that the director turned Rome into a movie theater.
We start with the courtyard where the main character Delia (played by the director herself) lives with her family. The setting has been recreated on Via Bodoni, in the heart of the popular neighborhood of Testaccio.
The interior spaces were created by set designer Paola Comencini at Cinecittà, the legendary factory of Italian cinema before Hollywood studios became the movie capital of the world. Delia often wanders into the so-called new Testaccio market, which was transformed into an old typical post-war market in the south of Rome for the filming of the movie. Here you can learn about the stalls typical of the post-war era.
Paola Cortellesi turns to neorealism, Delia often moves through alleys and streets that became famous thanks to the great masters of neorealism: De Sica, Rossellini and Visconti. It is impossible not to think of''Oscar-winning Anna Magnani as Maddalena Cecconi in "Beautiful," whose characterization inspired the character of Delia.
The struggle for rights takes place in a Rome newly built from the ashes, an "open city" where, not coincidentally, after rebuilding after the war, the creating treaties of the European Economic Community were signed in 1957. Out of these streets of poverty and "ordinary guys," the European dream was born.
