Greece and Turkey take special measures after attack on Israel in southern Cyprus.
In the wake of the launch of attacks from Gaza captivity on Israel and the Israeli army's declaration of "martial law," it is noted that emergency security measures have been taken in South Cyprus.
After Hamas launched Operation Aksa Tufanı, emergency measures were also taken in South Cyprus. According to the Fileleftheros website, Romanian police took additional measures, including at the Israeli Embassy in South Cyprus and at a synagogue. Police spokesman Christos Andriu said in a statement that immediately after learning of the attacks on Israel, the police chief ordered additional measures.
The news also notes that the emergency measures apply to the Israeli Embassy as well as other locations in the South''Cyprus.
Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos also said in a statement via social network "X" that he had a phone conversation with his Israeli counterpart condemning the terrorist attacks and expressed his solidarity with Israel. Parliament Speaker Anna Demetriou also said via social media that they condemned the attacks, expressing their support for the state of Israel and its people.
