One of the important problems of our country is that it is a country for lonely people. The results of a study by the Italian Institute of Statistics show that one in three Italians live alone. That's 8.5 million people, which is 33% of the total number of families. It is predicted that by 2041 this figure will rise to 10.2 million. One of the reasons for this is the increase in life expectancy, as the majority of single people are already elderly (almost half are over 65). However, there are also many young people among singles who move to other cities for work. Therefore, 19.7% of singles are under the age of 45, and 31% are aged between 45 and 64.

It is worth noting that a large number of single people live' 'in major cities, particularly Milan, which has the highest concentration of singles in all age groups.

These demographics are also reflected in the real estate market.

With regard to the reason for buying real estate, it is interesting to note the increase in the proportion of those who purchase real estate as an investment - from 14.7% to 17.8%.
