Intensive development on stolen lands in occupied Cyprus by Turkey (PHOTOS) October5,2023 Trikomo.

The eastern end of the Karpasia peninsula, Trikomo in Messaoria and the coast of Kyrenia town are currently the subject of intensive residential and commercial construction. Much of this work is being carried out by foreign investors who are erecting buildings on land stolen from Greek Cypriots after the 1974 Turkish invasion, Philenews reported.

The occupation regime is deliberately selling Greek Cypriot land, thereby silencing the land issue.

Typical are the photos sent by our readers, which show high-rise buildings in the Tricomo neighborhood, many of which have been bought by foreigners.

In fact, the construction sector and real estate sales are seen as a new field of activity that has sustained economic life in the occupied territory in recent years.

According to reports in the Turkish Cypriot press, small commercial enterprises continue to close, while businesses such as real estate agencies, consultants and estate agents are thriving.
