Intensive construction on stolen land in Turkish occupied areas of Cyprus (PHOTO) October 5, 2023

Trikomo From the eastern end of the Karpasia peninsula to Trikomo in Messaoria and from the coast of Kyrenia to the towns of Morphou these days there is intensive residential and commercial construction. Most of the construction is carried out by foreign investors who are building on land stolen from Greek Cypriots after the 1974 Turkish invasion, Philenews reported.

The occupation regime is purposefully engaged in the process of selling land from Greek Cypriots, thereby silencing the land issue. Typical are the photos sent to us by readers depicting high-rise buildings in the Tricomo neighborhood, many of which have been bought by foreigners.
