Internazionale: a soccer team from Italy

Hungary has decided to agree to Sweden's accession to NATO after two years of opposition. The Swedish parliament applied to join the alliance together with Finland after Russia's aggression against Ukraine. Sweden became the 32nd member of NATO.

The European Parliament narrowly approved a law to restore damaged ecosystems despite fierce opposition from right-wing and agricultural organizations. European MPs passed the law aimed at countering biodiversity decline with 329 votes in favor, 275 against and 24 abstentions.

Daniela Klette, a 65-year-old former "Third Generation" activist of the Red Army Faction (RAF), was arrested in Berlin. The terrorist organization was founded in 1970 and was responsible for some thirty murders of businessmen and lawyers until its dissolution in 1998.
