Israelis opened 2,000 companies and bought 25,000 acres of land: occupation in Northern Cyprus.
In the north of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), it has emerged that a host of Jews from Iran, as well as from Britain, Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Israel, have acquired huge tracts of land.
Israeli settlers who have practically populated the TRNC have come under scrutiny. Sabah newspaper news coordinator Abdurrahman Shimshek investigated how Jews, especially in the northern part of the TRNC, purchase land and buy new large blocks through lawyers.
It is well known that the construction industry, especially the interest of foreigners, including Jews, has grown rapidly in the TRNC over the past 5 years. In light of these developments, allegations have arisen that tens of thousands of Jews are making Zionist investments.
Observers note that 35,000 of the TRNC's 380,000 population are Jews, who appear to be taking over the TRNC by using Israel-affiliated individuals as intermediaries to broker secret contracts for large tracts of land, similar to the Philistine model.
Shareholders claim that the Jews who have come to the TRNC have created 2,000 companies in all fields purely for the sake of investment; they express their displeasure at the fact that wealthy Zionist Jews from various countries are gathering in the north of the island, from where Tel Aviv is visible, and forming "a new Israel in the north of the island?".
Some studies on this topic were published on his social media page by journalist, writer and historian Sabahattin Ismail, who is a former advisor to the first president of the TRNC, Rauf Denktash.
The Evergreen İnşaat company founded by the late Amikam Marhum, who died of blood cancer, is acquiring land and building residential developments on the coast of Gezelurt in the west of the island and on the Esentepe coast in the east of Girne. Despite the fact that he has a wife and children, the company was taken over by a Jew named Yual from America. Another investor from Israel is Samar Saadeh, which has begun construction of a large residential complex in the Alagadi neighborhood in western Girne.
These facts have raised allegations that all these companies do not compete with each other or enter each other's territory, and their investments are controlled by a higher center. It also became known that in the last 2 years many Iranians have founded companies and entered the TRNC market, and that Jewish Russians and Ukrainians are in the same situation. It is believed that 25,000 decares of land have been sold involving 2,000 companies owned by Jews but registered to lawyers.
Kemal Ahiskal, who deals in real estate in the Iskele neighborhood of the TRNC, shared his thoughts on the acquisition of land and buildings by Jews. He pointed out that Russians, Ukrainians, Iranians, Israelis and Poles interact with each other in the TRNC, saying, "They should have one leadership, one reference point. They operate like a closed system. There's no more land left... Most are owned by foreigners... Iskele, Girne and Gezelijurt are also for sale. They bring in trunks full of money.
The Eurocoast İnşaat company, founded by father and son Benzi Friedman and Maor Friedman, who both served in the Israeli army, is building residential buildings in Ilgaz, Alsanjak and on the coast of Karşıyak in western Girne. Sabahattin Ismail claims that Karpaz Gate Marina is the biggest Zionist investment in the TRNC, near what he claims is a colonization zone. He informs that at the moment three residential complexes are under construction in the marina area and says, "Colonization around the marina should definitely be prevented. There should be bans on selling plots of land and real estate to foreigners. "
Information received by Ismail is as follows: "Cesar-Dominika İnşaat, a company owned by TC-TRCC citizens Shimon Afik Aykut and his son Jack Afik Aykut, is acquiring land and building large residential complexes on Tatlusu Beach and on the eastern part of Karpaz aimed at Israel. "
