In its bankruptcy filing with the Manhattan District Court, the company cited restructuring proceedings underway in Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
The company, the largest real estate debtor, defaulted in 2021 and announced an overseas debt restructuring program in March this year.
