The 2023 International Architecture Awards announced the winners in Chicago, IL. Now in its 18th year, this prestigious award recognizes outstanding achievements in the world of architecture. Based in Chicago, the award highlights exceptional new buildings, urban planning projects and landscape architecture in 2023. In addition, the city is hosting the Chicago Architecture Biennial (CAB 5) this month.

Since the inception of the International Architecture Awards in 2005, this annual project has become a platform for celebrating contemporary architecture. In addition, the award organizers believe in architecture's potential to improve the quality of life for people around the world. This year's winners were selected from 48 countries, from Ethiopia to Tokyo, and from New York to Nova Scotia.
