The Stop Inflation 100+ campaign in Montenegro has started.
The campaign "Stop Inflation 100+" starts today, and according to the Montenegrin government, citizens can expect a reduction in prices of more than 100 goods.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism of Montenegro, in cooperation with representatives of trade networks, distributors and other stakeholders, has agreed to continue the campaign "Stop Inflation" under the name "Stop Inflation 100+", which aims to protect the living standards of citizens and reduce inflation, reports RTCG.
Traders are required to identify a list of at least 100 products on which they will reduce prices by setting maximum retail and wholesale markups of 5 percent, while for traders with less than 100 employees the anti-inflation basket''includes a list of at least 50 items.
Goods from the anti-inflation basket will be labeled in the same way as in the previous 'Stop Inflation' campaign, which ran from the end of March to the end of June this year.
For merchants selling a certain type of goods, such as appliances, cosmetics, the anti-inflation basket will be customized for that type of product.
The promotion will last until the end of the year.
