Real estate: Prices have increased in 2023, according to the Bank of Greece.

In 2023, apartment prices in Greece increased by 13.4% compared to an 11.9% rise in 2022. The "rally" in real estate prices continued and accelerated in 2023. An analysis of data from the Bank of Greece showed that prices for new apartments (up to 5 years old) rose by 11.0%, while prices for older apartments (over 5 years old) increased by 12.4% in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.

According to geographical analysis data, the increase in apartment prices in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 was 10.8% in Athens, 14.6% in Thessaloniki, 13.9% in other major cities, and 11.2% in the rest of the country.
