AN UNKNOWN JOURNEY OF MASTERFUL STORAGE FROM WILD TURKEY®, A LIMITED EDITION CARVED BOURBON PERFECTED BY TIME IN JAMAICAN RUM BARRELS

Wild Turkey, a renowned American bourbon producer, has announced the release of a new limited edition as part of its annual Master's Keep series. This time Master Distiller Eddie Russell has collaborated with Dr. Joy Spence, the renowned master blender of Jamaican Rum Appleton Estate. Master's Keep Voyage is a 10-year-old bourbon with 106 percent alcohol content that has undergone additional aging in Jamaican rum barrels, the first experience of its kind for Wild Turkey. The new release will be available in July at select retailers.
This new edition of Master's Keep Voyage is a unique whiskey that reflects the craftsmanship of both bourbon and rum production. Eddie Russell and Dr. Joy Spence, with a combined 80+ years of experience, have created this drink that combines bright notes of fruit and caramel with a spicy oak flavor. To create this whiskey, Joy Spence selected the finest barrels of 14-year-old Appleton Estate Rum that would best complement the nuances and flavors of Wild Turkey. The casks were then taken to Wild Turkey's American Distillery, where Eddie Russell selected a batch of 10-year-old bourbon aged in casks with the classic number 4. The result is a unique whisky with a tropical flavor that will impress all lovers of this drink.
Launched in 2015, the Master's Keep series represents Eddie Russell's experimentation with aging and finishing techniques.

Wild Turkey is a bourbon produced in Kentucky on the banks of the Kentucky River. It is made using crystal clear water flowing through a natural limestone filter. Wild Turkey offers a rich flavor due to the lower alcohol content of the distillation process. Aging in new American oak barrels with heavy number 4 firing gives the whiskey a deep amber color and unique aroma. The casks are filled in the distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
Campari Group, a major player in the global spirits industry, is the owner of Wild Turkey and other well-known brands. It has a wide range of products and holds leading positions in Europe and America. The company was founded in 1860 and is the sixth largest premium spirits producer in the world.
