George and Amal Clooney are selling their $107 million Italian villa to spend more time at another luxury residence.

According to information acquired by Seknows, George and Amal Clooney appear to be making a major deal in the real estate market that they had hoped to keep quiet about. They put their beloved Lake Como villa up for sale for a staggering $107 million. While rumors have previously surfaced that the couple is planning to get rid of the property, Page Six notes that this time they seem very serious.A second home has captured their hearts, and it's not in Italy. Their primary destination is now reportedly the Domaine du Canadel residence, which they purchased in 2021 in the Provence region of France. So for now the villa on Lake Como is a "very quiet proposition" with no "publicity" or "press". According to Secknowes, the Clooneys are, of course, looking for buyers with "substantial wealth" interested in purchasing this residence.

If George sells his villa as requested, he will make a staggering profit since he bought it in 2002 for just $10 million. The villa has 25 rooms with stunning celebrity amenities including an outdoor pool, gym, movie room, lush gardens and tennis court. Of course, we can't forget the magnificent view of Lake Como, which is literally a stone's throw from his property. The villa has been visited by celebrities such as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Matt Damon, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. The dynamic duo are creating new memories at their 425-acre wine estate in France, which they purchased for just $8.3 million. Their six-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, will be given the opportunity to swim in the pool, run through the olive grove, visit their own lake or even learn the art of winemaking in the 25-acre vineyard. It's a big step for the Clooney family, but it seems like the perfect secluded place for them to get rid of the paparazzi.
