Vacation in Montenegro: the cost of a holiday for a family with children and apartments - the highest price right now.

The prices for accommodation and food in Montenegro this year will be higher than in previous years, so Serbian tourists planning to spend their vacation on the Montenegrin coast should prepare their wallets well.
Local hoteliers and restaurateurs claim that prices will be 20 percent higher during the peak season. The summer season runs from June 15 to September 15, and one of the main questions is what the prices will be and how much money a family of four will need for a ten-day vacation.
Depending on the vacation spot, Serbian tourists will need to spend an average of 1,000 to 2,500 euros. Traditionally, Budva and Kotor are more expensive than Bar, Tivat (excluding Porto Montenegro), Herceg Novi, and Ulcinj. Also, during peak season, when tourists literally flood the Montenegrin coast, locals ask for twice as much for accommodation and car rentals.
In Tivat, Porto Montenegro offers luxurious services at a price of 550 euros for dinner for four people, including four main courses, an appetizer, seafood, and two bottles of wine. Prices for accommodation in private apartments range from 30 to 100 euros per day, excluding peak season. A one-bedroom apartment costs between 50 and 65 euros per day, while a larger and better-furnished apartment will cost at least 150-180 euros per day.
The prices for products in stores are also varied. The quality of rooms in hotels in Montenegro is not different from what you can find in Turkey or Egypt; however, unfortunately, this cannot be said about the quality of service, as only a few hotels offer "all-inclusive" options.
The prices for excursions also vary. For example, a visit to Kotor costs 15 euros, a visit to the Bay of Kotor is 25 euros, and a visit to Durmitor National Park is 45 euros.
In Budva, there are about 140 hotels available, making it attractive to many Serbian tourists, especially young people, due to the excellent entertainment options. In Sutomore, the prices for rooms and apartments currently start at seven euros per person, while a studio costs nine euros. For children under seven years old, the fee is half the price.

In Budva, the prices for private accommodation in a double room during the season will range from 20 to 50 euros per person, while apartments for four people will cost from 50 euros and up. As seen in the "Vacation in Montenegro" group on Facebook, it is still possible to find accommodation priced between 15 and 55 euros for the next ten days, and in the second half of June, the prices will be 25 and 70 euros, respectively. A three-person studio with a double bed and an extra bed costs 55 euros.
During the main tourist season, hotel prices will be higher by 7-20 percent. The average price per person in a three-star hotel will range from 28 to 46 euros, while in higher-category hotels, it will be from 37 to 140 euros. Food and drink prices also vary from place to place. For example, a large pizza can cost from nine euros (Margherita) to 14 euros (pizza with cheese, prosciutto, arugula, and olives). Prices for coffee, beer, and juices also differ. The cheapest lunch for two people (soup) costs 10 euros. Fast food prices range from two to five euros, and ready-made dishes (moussaka, bean soup, etc.) also range from two to five euros. Prices for various salads and meat dishes also vary.
Overall, Montenegro remains a more affordable destination for vacation than Croatia or Greece, but tourists will still have to spend more money on their holiday this summer.
