The opening of the Real Estate Summit of TCCT took place in Bursa.
The Prime Minister of the TRNC, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoglu stated that the main goal is to protect the territory of the TRNC from foreigners. "I want to congratulate my colleagues in the real estate and construction sectors on their investments, but for me, the most important and desirable thing is that the property in these areas belongs not to foreigners, but to us, the local residents," he said.
Ataloglu, speaking at the opening of the "KKTS Real Estate Summit," organized by the construction companies Döveç Group and Gayrimenkul Yeri, reminded that he had previously visited Bursa to participate in various events. He emphasized his sensitivity towards the real estate and construction sector, stating that the beauty of KKTS can only be truly appreciated by starting to live here.
Atayoglu reminded that they exist thanks to their homeland - Turkey, saying: "We didn't just appear out of nowhere today. We came from the womb of our homeland." He noted that they have reached today thanks to those who died during the Cypriot peace operation and said: "As someone who well remembers those days, I continue to insist on the government. Why should I allow foreigners to seize land defended by my fallen? We have 90 million behind us. The main thing is to take care of the land of the TRNC, without giving it to foreigners.
The founder of Gayrimenkul Yeri, Elif Janigüleç Tekin, stated:
KKTS is an object of international attention due to its unique geography, rich culture, and investment opportunities. It also noted that they are making significant investments in KKTS and said: "Today, people from about 40 countries around the world are actively investing in real estate in KKTS. Because real estate here offers unique opportunities to make money. High rental prices and the potential for price growth attract investors from an economic perspective."
The director of Döveç Group, Burçin Divek, stated:
KKTC attracts attention not only for its natural beauty but also as a valuable investment opportunity. It has been reported that bilateral business meetings will be held as part of the "KKTC Real Estate Summit" until December 9.
