According to the report from the Republic Institute of Statistics, the average price per square meter of an apartment in new construction in Serbia in the first half of this year was 214,017 dinars, which represents a decrease of 1.8% compared to the second half of last year.

During this period, prices ranged from 52,481 dinars per square meter in Bujanovac to 489,634 dinars in the Belgrade municipality of Savski Venac.

The highest prices for newly built apartments were recorded in Belgrade's municipalities, where the average price per square meter in urban neighborhoods decreased by 0.6% compared to the second half of last year, amounting to 314,955 dinars per square meter.

Among the Belgrade municipalities, high real estate prices have also been noted in Novi Sad, Čajetina, the Niš municipality of Mediana, Vrnjačka Banja, and Sokobanja.

The sales area of newly built apartments averaged 55 square meters.
