Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou expressed his delight at the Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs in Cyprus, "I am very happy that this year we have awarded young entrepreneurs in Cyprus for the first time. Just like the Young Entrepreneurs Award ceremony in Greece last week, the impressive participation of Cypriot and Greek citizens in this new initiative awakens in me the hope that young entrepreneurs in Cyprus, like their counterparts in Greece, are full of passion, vision and''imagination, and that is very important to me. I wish the winners to continue their work with the same passion, love and enthusiasm. I myself support the 'Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs' and will always support young Cypriot entrepreneurs. Congratulations to all the winners and candidates who applied. We received 23 excellent applications in the first year, which made the final selection very challenging. I therefore encourage candidates to reapply next year and join the Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs. I am very proud that we have selected three valuable consumer-focused startups.
"Stelios 2023 Awards for Young Entrepreneurs" in Cyprus are a unique initiative that has no analogues on the island. Applications for the Stelios Two Nation Awards will be accepted from November to January 2024. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 2024. В''This year, 10,000 euros each will be awarded to 20 entrepreneurs engaged in bilateral cooperation. The total prize money amounts to 200,000 euros.
