Winners announced at the Holcim 2023 International Awards.

The Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction announced the winners of the Holcim Awards 2023, as well as the silver, bronze and pointer prizes, at a ceremony held on November 18 in Venice, Italy.
The five juried, selected projects were evaluated by independent experts from different countries to highlight contextual and practical approaches to sustainable construction, showing diversity in scale, budgets, geography and forms.
Francis Kéré, winner of the Holcim Global Gold Award in 2012 and winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2022, spoke at the event to talk about the impact of the Holcim Prize on his career.
Studio DnA_Design and Architecture
The DnA_Design and Architecture studio is the winner of the gold''Asia-Pacific Awards with a project on the adaptive use of cultural heritage sites.
Husos, Elii and Ultrazul
Husos, Elii and Ultrazul won in Europe with a 360° co-design process for the renovation of an industrial building.
Cano Vera Arquitectura
In Latin America, Cano Vera Arquitectura was selected for creating an urban forest and social infrastructure.
Juergen Strohmayer and Glenn DeRoché
In the Middle East and Africa region, Juergen Strohmayer and Glenn DeRoché were recognized for their work on youth emancipation and responsible tourism.
Partisans Architects and Well-Grounded Real Estate
Partisans Architects and Well-Grounded Real Estate have become the first prize winners in North America with a high-tech and low-cost modular housing solution for''urban environment.
The winning projects of the Holcim Awards 2023 are characterized by a high level of innovation and sustainability in construction, and are examples of the successful application of adaptive use and recycling of materials.
