Since its opening in 1861, the estate Les Prés d’Eugénie has become a symbol of traditional French stylistic heritage, possessing charm and some exotic elements. This establishment is associated with the name of Empress Eugénie, the wife of Napoleon III, who supported this small resort between the regions of Landes and Béarn in France. A hundred years have passed since then, and the estate has been managed by the Guérard family.
On a vast area of eight hectares, there are seven buildings that house 45 cozy rooms, suites, and apartments. Guests are provided with a homely atmosphere along with pleasant amenities:homemade madeleines and fruits from the surrounding hills, perfume as a gift, and impressive bouquets from the local garden.
Restaurant La Ferme aux Grives
The restaurant La Ferme aux Grives welcomes everyone who appreciates good cuisine and is decorated in a style reminiscent of old taverns. Here, traditional local dishes are served with the original interpretation of Michelin-starred chef Michel Guérard. The authentic atmosphere, with polished wooden tables and a majestic stone fireplace, gives this place a special charm. It is by the fireplace that suckling pigs, chickens, and partridges are prepared, turning golden under the attentive gaze of the guests.
Loulou’s Lounge Bar
Every day at Loulou’s Lounge Bar, tea is served, where guests can come and enjoy the atmosphere created by Empress Eugénie, captured by the famous photographer Gustave Le Gray. Here, you can indulge in madeleines, gingerbread, and other exquisite sweets.
Restaurant La Table des Prés d’Eugénie
The restaurant La Table des Prés d’Eugénie has held three Michelin stars for 40 years. Michel Guérard's cuisine combines classic recipes, a rich history, and creativity. The main idea of this cuisine is to use natural products with an emphasis on regional ingredients. The restaurant collaborates with artisans and suppliers, most of whom are located in close proximity to the estate.
Here you can try a variety of masterpieces, such as:

Spa area

The estate gardens
The property is surrounded by eight gardens, each of which plays an important role in the estate's life. Three of the gardens are intended for:

There is alsovarious rose gardens and a garden with ornamental trees and water features.In these gardens, ancient trees are planted, including plane trees, oaks, and century-old cedars.
The most important thing is that everything here is within walking distance – the two main buildings are located just a few dozen meters apart. The main estate, Grande Maison, is designed in a colonial style and includes a reception area, a fine dining restaurant by Michel Guérard, as well as 23 rooms and suites. Nearby is the Empress Wing, which houses Loulou’s Lounge Bar, Salon des Dames, and Salon du Pacha, as well as five suites.
