For wine lovers, Turkey is an emerging and still little-known destination, stretching from the Aegean coast to the hidden corners of Anatolia.

There are some of Turkey's top vineyards by region:

The Suvla family winery

Located next to the Çanakkale Strait, has over 500 medals.

Trakya Bağ Rotası (Trakya Vineyard Route)

The first regional wine route in Turkey, covering a large area stretching from the northwestern border town of Edirne to Gelibolu at the upper end of the Dardanelles Strait.

Gülor

One of the first boutique vineyards in Turkey, Gülor was founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Güler Sabancı in 1995 and is known for producing the first commercial Bordeaux-style wine in the country.

  • Chateau Nuzun was founded by Nazan and Necdet Uzun in 2004 with the belief that good wine can only be produced from excellent grapes.
  • Chamlija is a major wine producer making wines from Turkish grape varieties.
  • Arcadia, known for its low-intervention wines, is also home to Bakucha Vineyard.

And these are just some of Turkey's top vineyards. This country offers a wide range of wines and wine routes that allow wine lovers to immerse themselves in Turkey's wine culture and history.
