In the new adventure of detective Benoit Blanc (played by Daniel Craig), the main investigation takes place at a billionaire's private villa on a Greek island. This villa is played by Amanzoe, a luxury resort near Porto Heli in Greece. "It wasn't an island," production designer Rick Heinrichs told Condé Nast Traveler magazine. "It was in the middle of the Peloponnese peninsula, and we had to use visual effects to create the illusion of an island."

The resort consists of cabins, pavilions and villas with private pools and spectacular views of olive groves and the Aegean Sea. "Each villa has its own view, and they lead to the [Glass Onion] with the best view from the top," Heinrichs added.

"We also filmed on the island of Spetses, which is not far away," Heinrichs told the magazine. "When they arrive in Greece and are waiting for the yacht, it's Spetses."

Spetses, located near Athens, is a great place for a weekend getaway. On the island you can get around by carriage, by bicycle or on foot. You can stroll through the island's Old Harbor, explore the shipyards, visit the Bubulin Museum and enjoy the secluded beaches. The island is also full of impressive homes, upscale stores and restaurants.

Belgrade, Serbia

A lot of the interior scenes were shot in Belgrade, Serbia, including the Glass Onion interiors and everything related to New York and the Northeast. "Some outdoor shooting we did last year in Connecticut and New York, and all the interior scenes were built in Serbia," Heinrichs said.

Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is worth a visit, especially for history enthusiasts who want to see the iconic Belgrade Fortress, located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Additionally, there are plenty of shops, museums, architecture, nightlife, and parks to enjoy.
