Live in a Greek resort that appeared in "The Glass Onion: The Mystery of the Knives Case"

The second installment of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will transport viewers to a Greek island, offering a fascinating vacation-related story. This is the perfect choice for those who are looking forward to the continuation of the White Lotus series. And the great thing is that you will also be able to visit the locations where the movie was filmed.

According to the film's writer, director and producer Ryan Johnson, the decision to move the events to Greece was a conscious move to differentiate the sequel from the first installment. He noted that in addition to the tradition of cozy English village murders, there is also a tradition of "resort murders." This is a global press conference.

If you're planning a trip to Europe or just dreaming of a new vacation, the filming locations of Glass Onion are sure to impress you. Find out all the details in advance.

Amanzoe

In the new adventure of detective Benoit Blanc (played by Daniel Craig), the main investigation takes place at a billionaire's private villa on a Greek island. This villa is played by Amanzoe, a luxury resort near Porto Heli in Greece. "It wasn't an island," production designer Rick Heinrichs told Condé Nast Traveler magazine. "It was in the middle of the Peloponnese peninsula, and we had to use visual effects to create the illusion of an island."

The resort consists of cabins, pavilions and villas with private pools and spectacular views of olive groves and the Aegean Sea. "Each villa has its own view, and they lead to the [Glass Onion] with the best view from the top," Heinrichs added.

"It's like the Colosseum, a very epic view that makes it feel like people are going to kill each other."

The resort is currently closed and will open for the summer season on April 1, 2023. If you're ready to plan a luxurious stay, reservations are available now.

Spetses, Greece

"We also filmed on the island of Spetses, which is not far away," Heinrichs told the magazine. "When they arrive in Greece and are waiting for the yacht, it's Spetses."

Spetses, located near Athens, is a great place for a weekend getaway. On the island you can get around by carriage, by bicycle or on foot. You can stroll through the island's Old Harbor, explore the shipyards, visit the Bubulin Museum and enjoy the secluded beaches. The island is also full of impressive homes, upscale stores and restaurants.

Belgrade, Serbia

A lot of the interior scenes were shot in Belgrade, Serbia, including the Glass Onion interiors and everything related to New York and the Northeast. "Some outdoor shooting we did last year in Connecticut and New York, and all the interior scenes were built in Serbia," Heinrichs said.

Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is worth a visit, especially for history enthusiasts who want to see the iconic Belgrade Fortress, located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers. Additionally, there are plenty of shops, museums, architecture, nightlife, and parks to enjoy.
