Riley Keough is the owner of Graceland, while Priscilla Presley is buried.

Riley Keough, the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, will be the sole trustee of her late mother's estate. The court's decision was obtained by USA TODAY. Keough approached the Los Angeles Superior Court to request approval of an agreement she made in May with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, and Lisa Marie's ex-husband, Michael Lockwood, the father and guardian of her younger twin daughters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, who are 14 years old.

After the divorce of Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Lockwood, their financial disputes continued in family court until the singer's death.

A representative of Keo declined to comment on the agreement. Journalists from USA TODAY reached out to Keo's attorney and representatives of Priscilla Presley and Graceland, Elvis Presley's home.

The documents detail how the property will be distributed among the members of Lisa Marie's family and specify that Priscilla will be buried in the plot closest to Elvis, her former husband, at Graceland.

Lisa Marie, the singer and only child of Elvis Presley, passed away at the age of 54 on January 12 in a California hospital after a 911 call about a woman with heart failure. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

After the death of Lisa Marie, Priscilla filed a lawsuit challenging Keough's oversight of the estate. Here is the timeline of events:

January 2023: Priscilla Presley contests the issue of oversight over her daughter Lisa Marie Presley's estate.

Priscilla filed court documents challenging the issue of oversight over her late daughter Lisa Marie's estate in January, shortly after her daughter's death.

The filing in the Los Angeles Superior Court challenged the validity of the 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's living trust, which excluded Priscilla and the former business manager from being trustees and replaced them with Lisa Marie's older children, Riley and Benjamin Keough, in the event of her death or incapacity. Benjamin passed away in 2020.

In her court statement, Priscilla cited several reasons that raise doubts about the authenticity of the amendment to the trust, including the lack of notification about the change as required, a misspelling of her name in the document allegedly signed by her daughter, an atypical signature of Lisa Marie, and the absence of a witness or notary.

Living trust inheritance is a form of estate planning that allows a person to control their assets during their lifetime and distribute them after death. It serves the function of a will if a separate will has not been submitted, which apparently was the case with Lisa Marie.

May 2023: Priscilla Presley settles a dispute over the trust inheritance of Lisa Marie Presley.

In May, Priscilla stated that the dispute was "resolved."

"My family has resolved all misunderstandings related to the court proceedings and the request for interpretation of documents following the tragic death of my daughter Lisa Marie," Priscilla said in a statement to USA TODAY. "Although this request has been identified in the media as a lawsuit, I want to make it clear that no lawsuit has been filed against my granddaughter.

As a family, we are glad that we have resolved this together."

"My family and I hope that everyone will respect our privacy, which we need to properly mourn Lisa Marie and spend time together. We love and appreciate each of you, and the Presley family is stronger than ever," Priscilla added in her statement.

June 2023: Riley Keough will become the sole executor of Lisa Marie Presley's estate and is going to court to approve the agreement.

The agreement establishes Keough as the sole manager of Lisa Marie Presley's estate and as a trustee for her two sisters. Priscilla will serve as the estate manager for her son, Navarone Garibaldi, who is Lisa Marie's half-brother. According to the documents, the estate will be divided in such a way that Garibaldi receives one-ninth, while the remaining eight-ninths will be evenly split between Keough and her sisters.

As the sole trustee, Keo will own the property of Graceland.

In exchange for Priscilla's resignation from the position of manager, Keo will pay Priscilla a one-time sum and reimburse her legal expenses up to $400,000. Priscilla will serve as the "Special Trust Advisor" and receive a monthly compensation from Keo. The amount of Priscilla's reimbursement was removed from the documents.

The exact value of Lisa Marie Presley's trust is unknown.

It is unknown how much this property is worth, reports the Associated Press in January. In the lawsuit that Lisa Marie filed in 2018 against her former business partner Barry Siegel, she accused him of mismanaging the trust and stated that its assets were valued at over $100 million, but most of it had been spent. According to Forbes, Elvis's estate generated $110 million in income in 2022.

Lisa Marie's trust included ownership of Graceland and a 15 percent stake in Elvis Presley's business, according to People.
