The roaring twentieth century.

This Corsair is a steel-bodied roadster roadster built by Roaring Twenties Motor Car Company and was reportedly completed in the early 1990s based on a 1978 Ford chassis.
The car is finished in a two-tone black and silver color scheme and is powered by a 400 cubic inch V8 engine paired to a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a black soft-top roof, removable hard top, rear-mounted spare tire, spotlights, fog lights, simulated side exhaust pipes, 15-inch diameter spoke wheels and four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior is finished in gray leather and features a wood dashboard, MOMO steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows, cruise control and a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The brake distributor cylinder was replaced prior to sale. This Corsair from Roaring Twenties was purchased by the late owner in 2000 and is now being sold by the seller on behalf of the owner's estate with no starting price listed, complete with a gray soft top roof rack, owner's manual, service records from 2000 and an Illinois title that identifies the car as a 1978 Ford.
Roaring Twenties Motor Car Company first began producing retro-styled steel bodies in the 1970s, and later offered fully assembled cars on Ford chassis and powertrain. This example is based on a 1978 Ford chassis and was reportedly completed in 1992.
Painted in black and silver with a red accent stripe, the car features a black soft top and removable hard top, as well as a louvered hood, Cadillac Flying Goddess-style ornamentation, a spare tire on the rear, spotlights, lights on the front pillars, wood moldings on the sills and chrome radiator, bumpers, simulated exhaust pipes on the side panels. The 15-inch diameter chrome spoke wheels are equipped with 235/75 USA Classic tires with white stripe.
The braking system is provided by four-wheel discs, and the distributor cylinder was reportedly replaced in February 2024.
The interior of the car features bucket seats covered in gray leather that extends over the padded seat cushion and door panels. The dashboard and center console are finished in wood trim, and interior equipment includes air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, pigtail door handles, black rubber mats, and a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette stereo linked to a power antenna that is controlled by a switch.

The 400 cubic inch Ford V8 engine is equipped with a single carburetor and Holley aluminum-capped valves. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
