Rental apartments in Famagusta saw the highest growth in the apartment market in April.
In the April rental housing market in the KSRK, there was an increase of 4.94 percent. After a gradual decline in the number of rental properties from September to December 2021, January and February 2022 brought an unexpected rise, while March saw a decrease. However, in April, the growth trend returned. The number of rental properties noticeably increased in April. From September to December 2021, the number of properties decreased by 29 percent, while in January and February, there was an increase of 4.33 and 5.30 percent, respectively, and in March, there was a decline of 2.37 percent.

Market analysis conducted by GIYNIK Property revealed that by the end of April, there are at least 3,924 apartments, houses, and villas for rent in Northern Cyprus with various statuses, which is a decrease of 4.67 percent compared to the previous month (in March, there were 3,749 properties). The data also indicates an increase in the number of apartments in apartment buildings, penthouses, and studio apartments by 6.35 percent, from 3,007 to 3,198, as well as a decrease in the number of villas, two-story villas, detached houses, and bungalows by 2.05 percent, from 731 to 716.
