Serbia and Kosovo sign an economic normalization agreement at a ceremony in the Oval Office.

Belgrade and Pristina agreed to improve economic ties in their recently strained relations when signing the agreement at a White House ceremony Friday in the presence of President Donald Trump, who is aggressively pursuing a new foreign policy two months before the presidential election.
The economic development agreement included a second announcement that Serbia would move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and Kosovo and Israel would begin normalizing relations and establishing diplomatic ties.
The announcement ended two days of meetings involving Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti of the Republic of Kosovo, through which the Trump administration has sought to advance the peace process after being hampered by political differences between the sides.
