In September, there were 280,058 real estate sales transactions nationwide, according to representatives of the General Directorate of Tapu and Cadastre of the Ministry of Environment, Urban Development and Climate Change. Real estate sales in September were down about 10% from the 312,339 transactions in August. These transactions generated real estate tax revenue of 4 billion 808 million 937 thousand 276 liras.

Of the 280,058 real estate sales in September, 100,839 came from residential properties, 49,418 from land, 95,513 from fields, 11,041 from commercial properties and the rest from other properties.

Residential property sales last month were up about 16% from 119,547 sales last month, land sales were down 11% from 55,570 sales last month, field sales were down 5% from 101,104 sales last month, and commercial sales were down 6% from 11,758 sales last month.

The most properties were sold in Istanbul with 26,627 transactions. Istanbul is followed by Ankara with 16,059 sales, Izmir with 12,054 sales, Konya with 10,200 sales, Bursa with 9,898 sales, Antalya with 8,772 sales, Tekirdag with 7,803 sales, Balıkesir with 7,103 sales, Gaziantep with 7,092 sales and Kocaeli with 6,083 sales.
