Trump is finally voicing his online anger in court.

A day after a judge voiced his displeasure at Donald Trump's disrespectful behavior outside a courtroom in New York, the former president began uttering irate remarks inside the courtroom during the start of the third day of his bank fraud trial on Wednesday.

An increasingly furious Trump, whose real estate empire has already been rebuffed by a judge, remained silent for the first two days of the trial, instead choosing to rage against the entire legal system outside the hall's wooden doors. But when Judge Arthur F. Engoron noted that the usual formalities can be discarded because there is no jury here, Trump began to grumble and crossed his arms angrily, glaring at the judge. Trump turned to his defense attorney, Alina Habba, who was to his left to complain with loud groans - this reporter could only make out the words "no jury!" - then raised his hands and shook his head. The former president then sighed unhappily and sat down, straightening his dark blue jacket.

Just before the trial began Wednesday, he expressed his displeasure even louder online, where he wrote, "I don't even have the right, under any circumstance, to jury . This witch hunt cannot continue. This is election meddling and the beginning of communism right here in America!" Minutes later, Trump complained in court that he couldn't make out what the witness on the bench was saying: his longtime former accountant, Donald Bender, who became a government witness and recused himself from much of the work he did for the Trump Organization and its vastly inflated assets.

The testimony could have been seen as treasonous, given that Bender made millions at the firm Mazars USA while working for the Trump family, which invited him to golf courses, hotels and parties.

The real estate empire Trump has built over his lifetime is on the verge of losing control, and New York Attorney General Letitia James is still seeking to empty his bank accounts and kick him out of the corporate world. Wednesday also marked the first time Trump sat in court while details of his personal finances - many of which are fictitious - were on full display. Last year, he skipped a criminal trial in Manhattan that ended with his family company convicted of tax fraud and fined $1.6 million.

This first week of the trial did not go well for Trump. On Tuesday, Engoron ordered the former president to stop personal attacks on the judge's staff. Nevertheless, he continued to accuse Democrat Letitia James, New York's attorney general, of "election interference" by "radical left-wing Marxists." Meanwhile, Trump's legal team picked up where it left off yesterday, with Miami defense lawyer Jesus M. Suarez, who questioned Bender and tried to undermine his loyalty.
