In the past month, 287,059 real estate sales transactions were carried out nationwide, generating a revenue of 5,221,100,611 Turkish Liras in ownership tax.

Information received from representatives of the General Directorate of Cadastre and Registration, 287,059 real estate sales transactions were carried out last month. These transactions contributed 5,221,100,611 Turkish Liras of property tax.

119,082 of these transactions involved the sale of residential properties, 49,114 involved the sale of land plots, 86,657 involved the sale of a field, 11,464 involved the sale of commercial properties and the rest involved the sale of other properties.

The number of transactions recorded in May rose by 34% from''April and amounted to 214,947 transactions.

The most active real estate market was the city of Istanbul with 32,372 transactions.
