Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Bob Mould, and Robin Pecknold share stories about food while on tour in Alex Bleeker's book "Taste in Music."

Real Estate bassist, Alex Bleeker, has announced the release of his first book, Taste in Music: Eating While Touring with Indie Musicians. It will be published on September 24th by Chronicle Books. Alex says: "This book- this is a caring collection of texts and photographs about the intersection of two of my favorite things: touring and food." Co-written with food and travel writer Luke Pyenson (who also played in Frankie Cosmos), the book includes stories and anecdotes from musicians such as Weyes Blood, Robin Pecknold from Fleet Foxes, Bob Mould, Chris Frantz (Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club), Mark Ibold (Pavement), Kevin Morby, John Gourley (Portugal. The Man), Amelia Meath (Sylvan Esso), Eric Slick (Dr Dog), Dawn Richard, The Beths, Sadie Dupuis (Speedy Ortiz), Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang (Galaxie 500, Damon & Naomi), Steve Sladkowski (PUP), and many others.

The book presents stories that take place on five continents, in private homes and street stalls, in the temples of upscale restaurants and in actual temples, behind the scenes and in cars, early in the morning and late at night.
