Video: Muslims chanting Gazette Jews in Sydney, Australia

In front of the walls of the world-famous Sydney Opera House in Australia, Hamas supporters chanted, "Poison the Jews," as seen in a video released by the Australian Jewish Association. On October 9, a crowd of several hundred people, mostly Muslim immigrants, also chanted "Allahu akbar" ("Allah is Great!") and "Fuck the Jews" in the presence of police officers. The event was organized to mark Hamas' massacre of Jews and simultaneous attacks on Israeli security forces.

The chanting people waved the flags of their home country, including those of Turkey and Lebanon. Some also waved flags adopted by people identifying with Palestinians.

Similar celebrations by Hamas supporters took place in the Arab world, as well as in Europe and the United States.

The Australian government brought in an estimated 800,000 Muslims to help local employers, real estate investors and retailers. About one in every 33 Australians is Muslim.

Many Muslim immigrants probably object to the hate but have so far failed to organize any resistance.

The crowd at Sydney Hall also burned an Israeli flag.

The Australian Jewish Association has warned Jewish people to avoid commenting on Hamas celebrations.

Police later arrested a local pastor for bringing an Israeli flag to another Hamas protest at Sydney Town Hall. He was arrested while running away from a threatening group of Muslims. He was arrested on a charge of "disorderly conduct." The offense is broadly defined and can be applied to a person who "interferes with the normal functioning of civil society. "

A Jewish man has been detained for waving an Israeli flag as thousands of pro-Palestinians cheered.
