A winery chateau in southern France will present The Little Prince, a unique museum display.
The Little Prince has touched millions of people around the world with its universal story of love and friendship that invites us to open our hearts and embrace our essence, to reflect on the absurdities of human nature.
And as this beloved work celebrates 80 years since it was first published in 1943, French winemaker Gerard Bertrand - recently named "Master Winemaker of the Year 2023" by The Drinks Business, Europe's influential spirits trade publication - is dedicating a major exhibition to this literary phenomenon.
"It is important to remember that the symbolic image of the Little Prince can be everywhere," says Bertrand. "As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry taught us, the Little Prince is above all an idea, a symbol of innocence, curiosity and the search for meaning that resides in each of us."

The exhibition runs through September 25, 2023 at Château L'Ospitalet in Narbonne, on the southern coast of France. It is just one of 17 estates owned by Bertrand, who is credited with raising the quality and reputation of wines from the Languedoc, a region formerly known as a mass-market producer.
Deeply attached to terroir, the entrepreneur has made it his mission to support wine from southern France, striving to elevate it to the level of Bordeaux or Burgundy in people's minds.
