Second March sales, among the highest in history.

In March 2023, the second largest volume of real estate sales for that month was recorded since data collection began in 2000, according to official statistics from the Department of Land and Surveys.

The total number of real estate sales (measured by the number of contracts signed in land registries) in March 2023 amounted to 1,352 units - an increase of 23% compared to March 2022. This is the second highest sales figure for March since records began; only surpassed during the peak in March 2007, when 1,903 sales contracts were signed.

Although sales in Nicosia and Larnaca decreased by 17% and 12% respectively compared to March 2022, they increased in the other three districts.

Total real estate transactions - 2022/2023 comparison

As of the first quarter of 2023, the number of real estate sales reached 3,574 units, which is a 19% increase compared to the first quarter of 2022. With the exception of Nicosia, sales increased in all areas.
