Yousign offers digital signatures: the Italians don't like paper.
It is said that Italians have a negative attitude towards digital technology, but according to a study conducted by Ipsos on behalf of Yousign, 90% of Italians want to get rid of paper documents, while only 73% of French and 82% of Germans expressed such a desire.
Public institutions and private companies have been modernizing for several years by switching to electronic signatures. Previously, this practice was predominantly in the business and professional world, but now more and more individuals want to use electronic signatures. After ten years since launching a service for businesses, Yousign is now offering a free e-signature service for individuals.

However, it is interesting to note that almost two-thirds would like to use electronic procedures to interact with government agencies (62%), banking and financial services (52%), and health services (47%). This is followed by real estate (29%) and e-commerce (27%).
The advantages of electronic signature51% of Italians find electronic signatures convenient because of the ability to sign documents anywhere and anytime (51%), the speed (48%) and convenience of storing digital documents (24%), as well as greater security due to stronger authentication (29%) and data protection (21%).
The survey emphasizes that e-signature services are perceived positively by citizens, which means companies can distinguish themselves by offering the ability to digitally sign contracts.

"Yousign was created 10 years ago to help companies dematerialize and automate document management in a convenient and secure way. We realized that although people have become accustomed to signing documents remotely, they are still using scanned signatures or contracts photographed on their phone, which are not legally enforceable. We have worked to introduce entrepreneurs and managers to the power of e-signature to manage administrative processes and contracts simply, securely and sustainably," explains Yousign CEO Alban Sayyag. "To speed up the digitalization process, we decided to launch an e-signature service for consumers by providing it for free. Now everyone can sign documents remotely, without using paper, for free and conveniently, but, most importantly, it will be legally binding and recognized by European authorities.".
