The pine trees and sand dunes of Alfonso Park connect the city to the marina and provide a flat route for walking and biking. Reina Sofia Park has shade trees, rolling lawns, artificial ponds and plenty of resident squirrels, ducks, turtles and peacocks! It has an adventure playground that is illuminated at night, and a nearby children's amusement park and night market (summer only) that make for a good evening out. The inner part of Guardamar is known as Campo de Guardamar and includes the urbanizations of El Raso and Moncayo. El Raso has a shopping center and a very, very popular and lively market locally called '\''Lemon Tree Market'\'' every Sunday morning with over 500 stalls.
