The strict articulation of glazing with the facades defines the primary relationship of glazing to solid surfaces, an important compositional technique to achieve an integrated clarity of architectural forms and details. The north residence is located adjacent to a fluid element that wraps around the front façade. Thus, through the use of glass surfaces on three sides, a visual connection was achieved between the fluid element, the living and dining areas and the exterior spaces.
