House of the Day: A Spanish estate with 60 pounds of 24-karat gold
In case the 10700 square foot estate with incredible views isn't enough for you, you're in luck. This magnificent estate in Mallorca, Spain, is offering for sale along with 60 pounds of 24-karat gold. Currently, the home, known as Villa Colani, is being sold at asking price, but just last year it was listed for sale on eBay for $28 million.
When it comes to gold, there are 1,230 square feet of gold inside the house, some of it in the pool and the rest of it located in and around the house. The gold alone cost $1 million dollars when the house was built in 2009.
Even the shower room is clad in gold.
Even the bathrooms have a gold theme.
Lion statues also guard the house.
