Empantiz! Count Osorno eagerly awaits a child with his wife - the grandchild of the richest woman in Spain.

Congratulations! Count Osorno, the grandson of the richest woman in Spain, is expecting his first child with his wife, real estate heiress Belena Corsini. This happy news, revealed by Spanish media, comes after the couple's lavish wedding in Madrid in May 2021.
Carlos Fitz-James Stuart y Solís - the Count of Osorno - is the grandson of the richest woman in Spain and the youngest son of the 19th Duke of Alba, who inherited an estimated fortune of £2.2 billion after the death of the late Duchess of Alba in November 2014. At the same time, his wife, with whom he has been for over two years, also comes from one of the wealthiest families in Spain. Belén is the great-granddaughter of engineer Carlos Corsini Senespleda, the founder of the construction and public company Corsan, which was sold for €325 million in 2004.
Speaking with a reporter, Belén confirmed that the couple is expecting a boy. Their child will be the first grandson of grandfather Carlos, the Duke of Alba, as he already has two granddaughters. The Duke's eldest son, Fernando Fitz-James Stuart, and his wife, Sofia Palazuelo, who married in 2018, have daughters named Rosario and Sofia.
Carlos and Belen got married at the Liria Palace in Madrid, an 18th-century estate that has belonged to Carlos's family for several centuries, in May 2021. At that time, the wedding became the most significant public wedding in a year and a half due to the Covid pandemic, which forced many European aristocrats to postpone their lavish weddings. Although the couple could invite up to 300 guests and hold the ceremony indoors according to Covid rules in Spain, they chose a smaller guest list.

The Count of Osorno inherited a vast fortune after the death of his grandmother, María del Rosario Cayetana Alfonso Victoria Eugenia Francisca Fitz-James Stuart y de Silva, seven years ago. With an estimated worth of £2.2 billion, the Spanish duchess was one of the richest aristocrats in Europe when she passed away in November 2014 at her residence in Seville, at the Palacio de Dueñas. Her husband Alfonso Díez, who was 24 years younger, reportedly received no inheritance, including an impressive real estate portfolio, 50,000 works of art, and 18,000 rare books, after he signed a document waiving any claims to her fortune before their marriage in October 2011. Instead, the duchess, who is a direct descendant of King James II of England, bequeathed all her property to her six children, each of whom received a palace and thousands of acres of land. Her eight grandchildren are also said to have inherited a significant portion of her wealth. As a relative of Winston Churchill, the duchess shared toys with the future Queen Elizabeth of England when they lived in England as children.
