In Madrid, more and more brands are popping up ahead of the Christmas campaign. The latest to request a space on one of the capital's main shopping streets is the brand of the now deceased German designer Karl Lagerfeld. The opening of the store in the heart of Fuencarral Street became known thanks to information received from idealista/news. The fashion brand is currently owned by the fashion distributor group G-III.

The company will open a store under the Karl Lagerfeld Jeans brand, targeting Generation Z with a lower average price compared to the main line. The firm, led by creative designer Hoon Kim, together with Karin Ruafel, will have its own logo and independent design team. 10% of products from''s first Karl Lagerfeld Jeans collection will be made of denim. Karl Lagerfeld Jeans will take over the space previously occupied by cosmetics brand MAC, which recently closed its doors at 31 Fuencarral.
