The Allianz Arena, located in the district of Fröttmaning on the northern outskirts of Munich, is one of the most famous sports arenas dedicated to soccer. This is thanks to a distinctive design consisting of 2,874 PTFE elements, each of which is equipped with interior artificial lighting in three different colors, depending on the event being held.

The stadium, designed by architects Herzog and De Meron, was completed in 2005 and, in addition to being the home arena of Bayern Munich, is accessible all year round thanks to the availability of conference facilities, restaurants, sports stores, entertainment areas and daycare centers.

The quality of the playing field is ensured by the choice of Italian hybrid grass. The pitch, measuring 111x72 meters, is a Mixto® system that was completely renovated this summer ahead of the German Supercup final (DFL-Supercup 2023) between Bayern and RB Leipzig on August 12. The surface has been completely replaced and rolls of natural grass grown at Rappo Nurseries in Italy have been laid.
