Kiatnakin Phatra Securities is a clear leader in Thailand's investment and brokerage sector - just look at the numbers. The brokerage, which has a managing director and head of investment banking and capital markets, Anuwat Ruamsuk, was the top ECM bookrunner in Thailand during the Asiamoney awards period, with a market share of 17% from four deals. These included a significant IPO of Thai Life Insurance totaling $954 million and a $457 million listing of food and beverage company Betagro.

Kiatnakin Phatra was also the sole runner-up for Bumrungrad Hospital's $335 million follow-on offer, as well as the frontrunner for an $85 million share sale from one of the founders of telecommunications company One Enterprise.

Financially, the brokerage, which is a subsidiary of Kiatnakin Phatra Bank Public Company, had a successful 2022.

Interest and dividends at Kiatnakin Phatra totaled 65 million baht ($1.9 million), up from 27 million baht in 2021. Commission and service income fell about 25 percent to 53 million baht, but other operating income rose from 2 million baht to 115 million baht.
