Kiatnakin Phatra Securities is a clear leader in Thailand's investment and brokerage sector - just look at the numbers. The brokerage, which has a managing director and head of investment banking and capital markets, Anuwat Ruamsuk, was the top ECM bookrunner in Thailand during the Asiamoney awards period, with a market share of 17% from four deals. These included a significant IPO of Thai Life Insurance totaling $954 million and a $457 million listing of food and beverage company Betagro.

Kiatnakin Phatra was also the sole runner-up for Bumrungrad Hospital's $335 million follow-on offer, as well as the frontrunner for an $85 million share sale from one of the founders of telecommunications company One Enterprise.

Financially, the brokerage, which is a subsidiary of Kiatnakin Phatra Bank Public Company, had a successful 2022.

One of the reasons why investment banking clients turn to Kiatnakin Phatra is its reach, especially its relationships with high net worth and private equity clients, which can be an important source of liquidity for capital market transactions.
