New: Esri Demographics (October 2023)

This October, Esri Demographics will unveil long-awaited offerings that are the perfect solution for retail, real estate and global data users. The release will be available through the ArcGIS GeoEnrichment service, ArcGIS Business Analyst web application, and demographic maps in ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World. Updated data for the U.S. and data from 75 countries will be featured in this release.

One of the features will be Retail Demand data, which allows users to determine the demand for a specific product in a particular industry. Users will be able to anticipate spending based on where the population will spend money. This information can help determine pricing, inventory of goods, or overall demand.

Time Series data can help users assess how the population has changed over time.

Data will include extended time series for population, households and dwellings. Annual figures from 2010 to 2023 will be available.

DHC data helps to investigate the composition, distribution and living conditions in a particular neighborhood or among a particular group of people. With the new 2020 U.S. Census data, users can access 1,400 variables such as ethnicity, income, education and other factors that affect changes in housing over time.

Demographics are also offered for Canada, France, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain, as well as standard demographics for 25 North American countries and 46 African countries.

For more information on the global data offered, visit the Esri Demographics documentation page. You can also start using Esri Demographics using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Business Analyst, or other Esri platform tools.
