The First Stelios Haji-Ioannou Awards for Young Entrepreneurs in Cyprus

Sir Stylianos Hadji-Ioannou, an international entrepreneur who first launched and continues to host the "Awards of the Two Communities" in Cyprus for 14 years, has once again set a record by honoring Young Entrepreneurs.

As part of the new "Stelios Awards for Two Communities" program, first place and a prize of 30,000 euros were awarded to Theodoros Panayides, the owner of the "Stavros" restaurant in Pedoulas. Second place and a prize of 20,000 euros went to Hasan Sibir, the owner of the olive oil production company "Colive Ltd." Third place and a prize of 10,000 euros were awarded to Eudokia Hadjiadamos, the owner of the "Luluki" coffee shop and donut shop in Aglantzia.

Sir Stylianos Hadji-Ioannou awarded a total of 60,000 euros to three winners out of 23 participants in the competition.

Sir Stylianos Hadjiioannou, the creator and owner of the Easy brand, founder and president of the Stylianos Charitable Foundation, stated that he is proud to support young entrepreneurs and will always stand by Cypriot entrepreneurs. He congratulated all the winners and participants of the competition and encouraged them to apply again next year.

Sir Stylos noted that he selected three winners who are involved in consumer startups, two of whom work in the accommodation sector, while one is in the retail production of high-quality agricultural products. He also mentioned that the first place went to a business in Pedoulas, the hometown of his late father, which makes this ceremony particularly meaningful for him.

"Stylos Awards 2023 for Young Entrepreneurs in Cyprus"- This is a unique program that has no analogs on the island.

Applications for the Awards from the two communities will start being accepted in November. Interested businesses from both communities (one from Greek Cyprus and the other from Turkish Cyprus) must submit their applications by the end of January 2024. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 2024.

This year, each of the 20 entrepreneurs collaborating with two communities will receive an award of 10,000 euros. The total amount of the awards will be 200,000 euros.
