Italian-style villa in Miami Beach sold by Mike Piazza for $18.5 million.
The Hall of Fame baseball outfielder Mike Piazza is selling his waterfront estate in Miami Beach. The 9,647-square-foot Italian-style villa, located at 1401 W. 27th Street, is listed for $18.5 million. Piazza and his wife purchased it in 2008 for $10 million. The home was built by the first owner as an exact replica of a villa inTuscany, Italy.
The luxurious Sunset Islands villa offers eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a half.

The grounds include a heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, a dock and boat hoist, a spacious deck with a play area for children and a large veranda with wood-paneled ceiling.
The agents in charge of selling the property are Yull Herzberg and Yull Eber, also known as "Jills." They have previously worked with other famous personalities such as Matt Damon and Lenny Kravitz. Incidentally, they are the ones who sold this Piazza estate in 2008.
